Our Commitment to Kashrus!: Empire has approximately 50 Rabbis on staff. Our Mashgichim oversee every Kashrus procedure throughout the plant. All Empire Shochtim and Mashgichim are B’nai Torah graduates of the most famous Yeshivas (Lakewood, Mir, Belz, Satmar, Bobov, Ger).

Because Empire Does it Right from the Start!: Empire Kosher is the first and only kosher poultry processor to breed, hatch, feed, process, package and ship all our own products.

Empire Kosher, founded in Liberty NY in 1938, is the world's largest kosher poultry processing plant. Located in Pennsylvania Amish country, in Mifflintown, PA, Empire has its own hatchery, feed mill and network of local contract farmers who grow free roaming chickens and turkeys for kosher processing. Our product line encompasses an extensive range of strictly kosher items, from fresh chicken cutlets, to fat free cooked turkey breast. Distributed to kosher butcher shops, supermarkets, delis and gourmet stores nationwide, Empire also exports its premium quality products to five continents.
